If you are looking for true peace and a way to live that brings peace try loving God and your neighbor.  The instructions are in the Bible.  You know they are true if God gives them to us.

The word charity in this passage means love.  This teaches us what true love is.  It is not always easy.  It is worth working towards and practicing in our lives.

Jesus was proactive.  He did not handle things by emotions.  He did not let irritation or anger control him.  He did not let his emotions rule him.  He assessed the situation and took action.  He took the correct action.  It may not have always been the action that was popular.  But it was the correct action.

1.  Stop.
2.  Think things through.
3.  Pray for wisdom and courage.
4.  Take the correct action.

This is simple but sometimes difficult.  It takes a desire to do the right thing and then the courage and wisdom to do it.

You shall surround me with songs of deliverance.” — Psalm 32:7 When times get tough remember the One who can hide you from the storm.  It is not someone you can see.  It is the One you can't see but who sees you.  He sees what is happening.  He sees what is going on in your life and mind and heart. Call out to Him.  Search His Word.  Trust that He will care for you.  No matter what.

Do you realize that you are capable of more than you think?  Did you have a teacher in school that encouraged you to do better work or to try harder?  They knew you could do it.  You did not think you could but they did.

Once you decided to try you were able to do what you thought you could not do.  Wasn't that a good feeling?  You were so excited.

We all are capable of more than we think.  I have a difficult time believing I am capable person.  But the times I stepped out and tried something new I usually surprised myself.  A few times I failed.  But I lived through it.
