Jesus was proactive.  He did not handle things by emotions.  He did not let irritation or anger control him.  He did not let his emotions rule him.  He assessed the situation and took action.  He took the correct action.  It may not have always been the action that was popular.  But it was the correct action.

1.  Stop.
2.  Think things through.
3.  Pray for wisdom and courage.
4.  Take the correct action.

This is simple but sometimes difficult.  It takes a desire to do the right thing and then the courage and wisdom to do it.
