Little Star by Anthony DeStefano is a beautiful story about Christmas. It is illustrated by Mark Elliott and is so beautiful. The cover and the pictures in the book are perfect to hold a little one's attention.
The story is about a star that is littler than the others and the problems he has because of his size. It helps children to see that no matter how small or different a person might be, they are still loved. It tells the true story of Christmas in a fiction format. It has a Bible verse at the end. I loved the book from the beginning to the end.
I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.

Outlive Your Life by Max Lucado Book Review
Don't waste your life. Read Max Lucado's book "Outlive Your Life. I picked up this book and started reading. It was just the book I needed to give me a little kick in the pants. It reminded me that my life needs to be more than about me. I had been thinking about what my legacy would be. What would my children and grandchildren think about me when I was gone. How would their lives be improved because I had been on earth.
What do we do when we see someone in need? Mr. Lucado talks aboout the shell we have around us. It keeps us from seeing and feeling the needs of others.
He also talks about the discarded people. Some of them are discarded by the church. Are we going to discard them also? Are we going to walk past the hurting people like the pharisees of Bible times? Or will we be the good Samaritan that takes the time to see what needs to be done and then do it? I hope that I would be like the good Samaritan.
Max Lucado has a way of putting Bible truths into word pictures that are easy to understand. And he has also given all royalties from this book to help others.
I was given a copy of this book to read and review by http:www/booksneeze.com. I was told to give an honest review and that is what I have done.
