Self confidence is an important quality to possess. I have heard before that Christians were not to have self confidence. I think that is not exactly true. We are to have our confidence in the Lord but at the same time we must have confidence in ourselves. We need the confidence to do what He tells us to do.
Everyone suffers from lack of self confidence at times. But there are some of us that endure this practically all the time. It is a form of fear. The fear that we will be ridiculed or the fear of failure or of making a mistake.
