I thought I would give an update on our storm struggles. We actually came out better than a whole lot of people. The destruction and suffering of people to our west and down south of us was devastating. It is in fact still going on.
We had stayed the first night with my brother and his family. We were all safe. The next morning an electric pole had fallen across the fence. But at that time the electric was still on at their home.
We went back to our mobile home and were very thankful that no trees had fallen on our home. There were several large oak trees down as we came up our dirt road. But they were not on anyone's home. After three days our electricity was turned on. We are so thankful.
A week later and people are still waiting to get their electric turned on. So many people are still suffering and without a home to return to.
Please pray for the people who lost family and friends in the destruction.
