"Beautiful Things Happen When a Woman Trusts God" by Sheila Walsh is a book that has touched my heart. The author, Sheila Walsh is able to speak to your soul. In this book she writes about trusting God in your life, even when things are not so pretty. She uses people from the Bible to explain how we can trust God when we don't think we can.
Sheila is very open and transparent about things that have happened in her life. I relate to a lot of the things that happened to her. I think we are all alike in some ways. She explains that our ministry is to know God more and more not to do more and more. He loves us just as we are with our problems and imperfections.
We may think that God has forgotten us or that He does not see what we are going through. But we can trust Him through the heartache and pain. He will use it for our good and His glory.
In the back of the book is a Bible Study. It has some questions to ask yourself, like "Why Am I So Afraid?" or "Why The Pain?" It helps you to focus on God's Word and how it applies to you where ever you are.
The book has 269 pages and 12 chapters. It is well worth the time to read it.
