My husband and I are working at losing weight as so many people are. I saw an advertisement in one of our local papers about a weight loss challenge in our area. I told my husband that I thought it would be a good idea for us.
His comment was that we were doing ok with what we are doing and not getting stressed out over it. If we joined a challenge we would be stressed. This would not be good for us. We do not need extra stress in our lives.
I had to think for a minute. He was right. When you are over stressed it messes with you physically. It messes with your temperament. It can cause upsets in the family. So ok. I decided to keep plugging along at what we are doing. It seems to be working for us.
