Family Movie Night "The Jensen Project"

Click on The Jensen Project Movie Trailer.  If you are looking for a good movie night with the kids or grandkids this is a good family movie to watch together.  It will be on July 16 on NBC. It's a high-tech thriller with the whole family in mind. What a nice change to see a good movie.

A Big Red Bible

I work in a small kitchen.  There are four of us that run it.
    In the storage room I had found a big red Bible.  The print was large.  When I worked the night shift I would get it out and read it.  I enjoyed doing that.  It helped me after a stressful day.
    I came in one day and looked for it and it was gone.  I looked everywhere.  I can't explain how I felt. 
    I wonder if this is how it ill be in a few years.  Will all our Bibles be gone?  Will they be confiscated?  It is something to think about.

If you have feelings of insecurity, you are not alone.  Most women have these feelings at different times in their lives.  These insecurities can keep us from living our lives the way we would like to do.  It keeps us from reaching our full potential.  I don't think God wants us to feel this way.

Max Lucado's Hermie and Friends "Who is in Charge Anyway?" DVD Review

I truly love this DVD by Max Lucado.  It is called "Hermie and Friends-Who is in Charge Anyway?"  The story is about different little bug critters.  It shows children in a way they can understand that God made them just right.  They are created a certain way for a reason.  Other people may not know it, but God does.

Max Lucado has a special way of teaching the things of God.  In this story a little flea has a dream about all the little critters in the garden.  It explains how things that happen are not accidents to God.  They are for a reason.  It gives spiritual truth to children.  This is something I want my grandchildren to watch.

This video features the voices of Tim Conway and Sam Mercurio.  There are several bonuses with this DVD.  It has a Behind-the-Scenes short film, a trailer, trivia game, Sing-A-Long and more.
